The Dutch company Green4Print, received their second (!) Cradle to Cradle CertifiedTM certificate. This time for the water-based printing products.
The certificate will be submitted on Monday, June 6th at 13.30 CET by Frieke Heens from EPEA Netherlands to Jack Baarends, R&D manager at Green4Print. The ceremony takes place at the DRUPA in Dusseldorf, the largest print exhibition in the world. This exhibition will last until Friday, June 10th.
EPEA Netherlands has coached Green4Print intensively during the certification process. The certificate applies to the water-based printing products such as flexo and gravure inks, overprint varnishes and fountain solution concentrates and published by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute. Earlier Green4Print already received a Cradle to Cradle certification for its unique and innovative offset inks and overprint varnishes.
Green4Print products have been developed with a focus on health, sustainability and ecology and is of course extensively tested.
During the development process there has been paid a lot of attention to the complete recycling of al materials, biologically renewable raw materials and non-toxic suspicious materials. The fountain solution concentrates are Isopropanol (IPA) free and are based on organic and non-toxic raw materials. Green4Print investigates the possibility for developing organic pigments.
C2C CertifiedTM products are ideally suited for use on food packaging, drug packaging and agricultural applications. The absence of acrylates, styrene acrylates, ammonia, amines, co-solvents and other toxic and suspicious substances (demonstrated by various test institutes) is a guarantee for healthy products for printers, their customers and all consumers.
You are invited to visit the stand at Drupa in Hall 3 B25 Green4Print.
