CO2 footprint

The term footprint is used to measure the impact of our activities on the earth. The CO2 footprint is a measurement of the emissions of CO2 as the result of the use of fossil fuels. CO2 reduction is becoming more and more topical within the printing sector. Various printing companies create a CO2-footprint.

The printing industry associations in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands and the United Kingdom have developed a calculation module for the calculation of the CO2 footprint. This allows a printing company to calculate the footprint at both product and organisation level. Our inks and other products make a positive contribution to improving the CO2 footprint.
